Peer Ministry
The Peer Ministry program at Mount Saint Mary Academy is comprised of sophomores, juniors, and seniors who are dedicated to promoting a strong faith life on campus. These young women are selected through an application and interview process and attend training retreats throughout the year. This team is overseen by the Campus Minister who guides the girls in their endeavors as Peer Ministers.
The responsibilities of the Peer Ministry team include planning and executing class retreats, assisting with liturgies and prayer services, organizing and leading the school in daily prayer, and, for the seniors, planning and presenting an annual Kairos retreat for upperclasswomen.
Music Ministry
The Music Ministry team, comprised of the Chorale and Music Ministry Club, leads the congregation in worship at liturgies and prayer services throughout the school year. The Music Ministry Club seeks instrumentalists and vocalists interested in performing both traditional and contemporary worship music. All students, faculty, and staff members are welcome.
