The Kennedy Library Media Center values the effective use of information sources and technology for promoting intellectual growth and effective communication. This is accomplished by providing a collection of print and digital materials, a variety of technologies, and space for quiet study or collaborative work. We also provide the campus with a Maker Space and student-led television studio program. A member of the library staff is always available for support of all resources. The Library Media Specialist works with faculty to incorporate information literacy and technology skills into the curriculum.
In addition to a collection of reference resources, literature and fiction volumes, the Library Media Center provides DVD's and access to OverDrive digital library to all students and staff. All materials are chosen to support the curriculum as well as personal enrichment.
During the summer of 2023, the Library Media Center underwent a significant refresh. The updated space is more open, bright and comfortable and gives students quiet and private areas to read, study, and complete schoolwork. The new space has received overwhelming praise from students.
