  • What sports does the Mount offer?

    The Mount currently offers 13 varsity sports. They are: Cross Country, Field Hockey, Soccer, Tennis, Volleyball, Equestrian, Basketball, Swimming, Winter and Spring Track, Golf, Lacrosse, Softball, and Flag Football.
  • Which schools does the Mount play?

    All Mount teams are members of the Skyland Conference and regularly compete against other conference members. For a complete list of the schools we play, click here and visit the "Member School Calendars" tab. 
  • To which associations does the Mount belong?

    The Mount is a member of the New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association (NJSIAA) as well as the New Jersey Independent Schools Athletic Association (NJISAA). This means that we compete in the NJSIAA as a Parochial A school and in the NJISAA as a Division A school. In track, we compete in the NJSIAA as a Parochial B school.
  • What tournaments does the school enter?

    The Mount is eligible to compete in both the NJSIAA and the NJISAA tournaments as well as the Somerset County Tournament.
  • Can freshmen play varsity?

    The best players are selected for varsity teams regardless of class. Freshmen are often selected and participate on the varsity teams.
  • Does the school conduct tryouts to field teams?

    All Mount teams are highly competitive and tryouts are held annually for each squad. The number of student-athletes selected varies from sport to sport. Tryout dates are in accordance with the NJSIAA regulations.
  • When do the teams practice?

    Most teams practice six days a week, after school, and on Saturdays. The swim team practices in the morning before school.
