Rachel Castela '24 Garners DAR Award

Social Studies Department Chairperson, Joanne Cadigan-Peters, presented Rachel Castela '24 with the Excellence of American History award from the Basking Ridge Chapter of the Daughters of American Revolution (DAR).

 

“This award is given annually to the student from our school who meets the DAR qualifications of academic achievement, motivation and personal interest in American history as observed and evaluated by the Social Studies Department. Rachel’s interest in history, national events and politics made her the most deserved candidate,” said Mrs. Cadigan-Peters.

 

Rachel will attend Villanova University in the fall.
